Welcome to the Internet home of the 15th Michigan
Based in and around the metro Detroit, Michigan area, the 15th Michigan Volunteer Infantry Company B is a Civil War reenacting group. We strive to experience first hand the Civil War soldier's life through authentic reenacting and to inform the public about the importance of the role of the Civil War soldier in preserving the Union and building our great nation.
If you would like to inquire about joining us or if you would like to request our participation at an event, we would like to hear from you.
Annually we participate in many activities designed to foster increased public awareness of the Civil War era. Our members participate in public discussions and demonstrations of living history, Civil War battle reenactments, military drills, parades, memorials, ceremonies and other related public portrayals of historically accurate Civil War era military and civilian lifestyles and activities.
